Thanks for visiting the Enchanted Archive.
This chapter is now closed.
Thank you for being my companion on this enspirited stellar sea.
What began in 2019 as a public offering of my heart in the form of animistic‑astrology readings blossomed into a life I could not have imagined in my wildest dreams.
For seven years you granted me the immense privilege and responsibility of being a spiritual mentor and diviner in the realms of animism, astrology, witchcraft, spirit‑work and magic. What began as me yelling on the internet about the poetry of the cosmos, the aliveness of a very responsive and relational world, the enspirited magic of our existence, turned into a vocation where I was allowed to be a companion‑guide to others’ enchantment.
Seven years is a waxing Saturn square to the chart of when I first offered readings and became a public witch and diviner. This was never really an intentional “career choice” on my end. It felt much more like the work chose me.
Or I should say, you found me.
You glittering, fascinating, soulful people who were hungry for an enchanted life. And if I believe in anything, I believe in generous hospitality and the sharing of knowledge and magic. Naturally, I was happy to oblige.
A waxing Saturn square is often a pivot point in one’s work. You either deepen into it and take on more responsibility, or you break away and build something new. Seven years is also simply a human span in which substantial growth and change happen.
And sometimes at this pivotal junctions, your spirit decides, “This chapter is complete.”
That is where I found myself.
I stood at the threshold of my own fateful transformation, where the enchantment I give to the world needed to take another form. This is the end of my professional witchcraft and occultist journey in the shape you have known, and the beginning of some stranger magic that allows my heart to soar again in all its fiery glory.
For a brief window, this page held The Enchanted Archive: a gathered timeline of my courses, workshops and transmissions from 2019 through early 2026. It was our little museum and harvest table. You could walk back through our shared path, choose what you wanted to keep with you, and help me lay this era gently to rest.
That window is now closed.
The Enchanted Archive and everything in it has been retired from public sale. The doors have been shut with care. The books and courses and rites we made together have been placed back on the shelf, but they do not vanish. They live on in your practices, on your hard‑drives and notebooks, and in the quiet places where the spirits and stars keep talking to you.
What remains here is a thank‑you, a record, and a few carefully selected lanterns to point you toward whatever comes next.
From my stellar‑flamed heart to yours, thank you for walking this path with me.
I hope to have you as a companion on my next journey into the realms of making-by-hand and creativity.
Where to go next for stars, spirits, and everyday enchantment
As I step back from public life as “Amaya the astrologer / witch,” many of you have written to ask some version of the same questions:
If you are no longer here in this way, where do I go now?
Who do I trust with my chart, my questions, my magic?
Who will help me keep weaving an enchanted life?
What follows is my parting gift: a small constellation of people and places I would happily send my own beloveds to.
They each have their own spirits, their own lineages, their own ethics and styles.
You are, as ever, sovereign in how you engage. Take what sings to your body. Leave what does not.
Let this be a basket of options, not a new list of “shoulds.”
When you want cutting‑edge magical technique and philosophy
If you are hungry for the experimental edge of magical technique and metaphysics, keep your eye on my partner Damien Rourke and his work at Vellum Codex.
Many of you have already met him through his teachings on the Sovereign Reality Zone, the Great Murmur, and the very practical ways your nervous system is your real ritual space. His last round of classes in this particular cycle has closed; I am not here to sell you anything that is no longer open.
What I am here to say is that if you want to keep learning about enchantment, egregores, and how to build a reality that is actually yours instead of being permanently eaten by the collective feed, his email list is where you will want to be.
You can find him at: https://www.vellumcodex.com/
When you want to become a well‑trained consulting astrologer
If what you want now is to become a solid consulting astrologer with real bones under your practice, I still send people back to where my own flourishing began: Sam Reynolds’ Nitty Gritty Astrology classes at Unlock Astrology.
Sam has a particular gift that is rarer than one might think. He can translate the cosmos into everyday speech so that novices and seasoned practitioners alike can understand and use it. His grounding in the history and techniques of the craft shaped me more than I can say, and much of what many of you loved in my chart work was built on the foundation I received from him.
If you are serious about reading for others and want that work to stand on something deeper than memes and vibes, go here and look for his Nitty Gritty offerings: https://www.unlockastrology.com/
When you want fixed stars through a deeply researched, technical lens
If your heart lit up around the fixed stars and you want to keep going deeper in a way that is technically rigorous and thoroughly astrological, spend time with Azur ad Astra’s work.
My own star‑lore has always leaned heavily on myth, folklore, anthropology, and the hidden cultural and spiritual meanings behind the stars. Azur is doing the complementary work of tracking how the stars actually behave in charts, over and over, in real lives. That is classic astrological research at a very high level: pattern‑seeking, careful, and grounded in lived examples.
Their Substack is an affordable, generous resource. They walk through stars one by one, offer unique chart examples, and build an evidence‑based picture of each star’s range. If you appreciated my storytelling and deep dives, and now want to see that same sky through a researcher’s eye, you will find a lot to learn from them. They also offer readings rooted in that work.
You can find them at: https://azuradastra.substack.com/
When you want a technically brilliant reading centred on desire
If your next step is not more study but being deeply seen, and you want readings aimed right at the core of your desire, go to Whitney Hill at Cobra & Crescent.
Whitney is one of the unsung heroes of astrological research. Her technical prowess is razor‑sharp, especially in predictive and timing work, but what I cherish most is how precisely she can articulate what you are really reaching for and what is actually on the table in the time you are in.
If you need someone to hold your chart with intelligence, accuracy, and reverence for your desire, not dismissing it and not inflating it, Whitney is who I send people to.

When you want relational, embodied personal astrology
If what you are craving now is astrology that sinks down out of the head and back into the body, I cannot recommend Diana Rose Harper enough.
Her work is some of the clearest, kindest, most animist and embodied astrology I know. She does not treat your chart as a machine to be decoded. She treats it as a living conversation between you and the sky, rooted in your actual nervous system and daily life.
Her Patreon is, frankly, a steal for the depth of wisdom and care she pours into it. It is full of teaching, reflection and practice for those who want astrology that feels like sitting down with a wise, witchy friend who also happens to be an excellent technician.
You can step into her world here: https://www.patreon.com/join/ddamascenaa
When you want to learn astrological magic from a relational perspective
If you are ready to go deeper into astrological magic, and you want to do it in a way that is explicitly relational and historically rooted, look to Idola Stellarum, the collaborative work of Pallas K. Augustine and Rain Mason.
Their membership is a true treasure‑house: a living school of astrological magic that treats the heavens as a community of persons, not just a diagram of forces. Classes, guest teach‑ins, archives, questions and answers, oh my! They have woven together a space where you can apprentice yourself to this craft in company, with a lot of guidance along the way.
They also craft and sell talismans at price points that are far more accessible than most in that sphere, and they do it with a seriousness and care that I respect.
Find them here: https://www.idolastellarum.com/
When you want embodied, relational folk herbalism
If your body is asking for plants as teachers and you want to root your magic in the green world in an accessible way, look toward Rowan and Sage’s Herbarium membership.
It is one of the most affordable long‑term herbalism memberships I have seen, and the library is both deeply researched and carefully vetted. It is folk herbalism that understands history and lineages, a space where you can learn how to work with plants in ways that are relational, ethical and grounded.
If you are longing for an everyday enchantment that runs through your kitchen and your garden as much as through your altar, their Herbarium is a beautiful place to begin.
You can find them at: https://rowanandsage.com/
When you want Celtic‑rooted spiritwork and spiritual stewardship
If you feel called toward Celtic‑based spiritwork and need a spiritually serious, ethically grounded guide as you navigate your path, I can think of no one better than Briar of The Greene Chapel.
Briar takes the job of spiritual stewardship profoundly seriously. She tends her spirits and her people with a kind of fierce integrity that is rare in this era. Her work is steeped in relationship: with land, with ancestors, with the beings who meet us in the liminal spaces of Celtic story and practice.
If you need help with the work of devotion, discernment, and walking with the Otherworld without losing your footing in this one, you can meet her work here: https://www.greenechapel.com/
When you want historical cycles and community astrology through an Indigenous lens
If your attention is drawn to the big cycles, the long waves shaping countries, empires and collectives, and you want to understand them in a way that is historically grounded and not cut off from land and body, please sit with Alex Mikinaak of Ishpiming Astro.
Alex is doing some of the best work I know on articulating historical astrological cycles, particularly around the United States. They trace the slow, grinding, terrifying and hopeful arcs of national charts with a clarity that does not sensationalize and does not look away.
Just as importantly, their work is held through a well‑grounded Indigenous Native American perspective that is relational and embodied. This is not astrology floating in the abstract. It is astrology in conversation with people, place and ancestors.
Alongside their written and teaching work, Alex hosts community circles where you can be held inside the astrology of the moment with others, gathering to explore what the heavens are doing now and how that actually feels and plays out on the ground.
If you find yourself obsessively doom‑scrolling U.S. news or feeling tides you cannot quite name, and you want someone who can hold those cycles with nuance and care, you can find them here: https://www.ishpimingastrology.com/
When you want to keep hearing from me about creative living
And then, of course, there is the question of me.
This site and this page belong to an era that has now been closed. I am no longer offering readings, occult workshops or spiritual mentorship in the form you knew here. That work has been archived and allowed to rest.
But I am not vanishing. I am changing shape.
If you want to keep hearing from me about painting, creative living, small daily enchantments, making art in a burning world, and building lives that actually feel like ours, you are very warmly invited to find me on my Substack.
That space is where I will now write about the quiet magic of making things; about desire, creativity and the nervous system; about beauty as a way of staying in relationship with the world when everything feels impossible.
(It is also where I will share the new work that emerges from this next era: paintings, music, stories, and whatever else the spirits coax out of my hands.)
Many of you are already there, because in the early days I imported this list into Substack. If you are receiving letters from me on Substack, you are already sitting at that hearth with me. If you are not yet there and you want to be, you can sign up directly.
You can find it here: https://amayarourke.substack.com/
As we close this chapter
Whether you follow me there or not, whether you claimed half the Archive when it was open or let it all drift back into the deep, whether you have been here since my first stumbling newsletters in 2019 or only met me near the end, please know this:
I am so grateful that our lives intersected at all.
Thank you for trusting me with your charts, your spirits, your stories, your late‑night questions.
Thank you for letting me rant about the poetics of the stars and cry about dragons at the pole and talk far too long about wells and knots and mermaid‑desires.
Thank you for every time you let my words sit beside you while you washed dishes or lay on the floor or walked around your neighborhood wondering how on earth to keep going.
You have never just been an “audience” to me. You have been companions in a shared working.
Without you, there would have been no Star Praxis, no Mater Medusa, no Enchanted Archive. Just a witch in a corner muttering to herself about stars.
As this seven‑year spell rests, my blessings for you are simple and fierce:
May you find the teachers, readers and companions who treat your life as the holy thing it is.
May you keep listening for the spirits and desires who still want to work with you, even as forms and eras change.
May you remember that no chapter, no role, no knot of fate, no matter how long you have lived inside it, is the whole of who you are allowed to be.
And may you always have enough light, whether from stars, candles, or the lanterns of other humans, to see the next few feet of your own path.
